This is when two colours are directly opposite on the colour wheel e.g.: Blue to yellow. This combination creates maximum impact & contrast while also creating balance. Common mistakes when selecting tiles

When tiling a patio or somewhere similar on the outside of the house, you really need to buy a non-slip tile, so the surface does not become slippery due to weather etc. On the inside when choosing a tile, consider when buying ceramic or porcelain, there will be different cost involved with each, as porcelain takes longer to lay and is harder to cut. Some porcelain needs to be sealed and polished, which also adds to overall cost. Feature tiles and mosaics also cost more, because of the extra time involved.
